285 prisoners have been granted special state pardon on the occasion of the 77th National Independence Day.
Prison Media Spokesperson Gamini B. Dissanayake stated that 279 of them are male prisoners.
Meanwhile, visitors have been given a special opportunity today (04) to visit prisoners on the occasion of Independence Day.
Accordingly, food and hygiene items brought by relatives can be provided in sufficient quantities for each prisoner.
285 දෙනෙකුට අද නිදහස
77 වැනි ජාතික නිදහස් දිනය වෙනුවෙන් සිරකරුවන් 285 දෙනෙකුට විශේෂ රාජ්ය සමාව හිමිව තිබෙනවා.
ඒ අතර පිරිමි සිරකරුවන් 279 දෙනෙකු වන බවයිි බන්ධනාගාර මාධ්ය ප්රකාශක ගාමිණි බී දිසානායක මහතා සඳහන් කළේ.
මේ අතර නිදහස් දිනය වෙනුවෙන් රැඳවියන් බැලීම සඳහා අමුත්තන්ට අද(04) විශේෂ අවස්ථාවක් ලබා දී තිබෙනවා.
ඒ අනුව ඥාතීන් රැගෙන එන ආහාර හා සනීපාරක්ෂක ද්රව්ය එක් රැඳවියෙකුට ප්රමාණවත් පරිදි ලබාදිය හැකියි.
