An unidentified person shot and fled a couple in a house in the Maraluwawa area, Wellawa last night (24).
The couple who were injured in the shooting have been admitted to the Kurunegala Hospital, where the man died.
The deceased is a 32-year-old resident of the Maraluwawa area.
The injured woman is a 30-year-old woman and is said to be a couple who were temporarily residing in the area.
The Wellawa Police are conducting further investigations

මියගොස් ඇත්තේ වයස අවුරුදු 32ක් වූ මරළුවාව ප්රදේශයේ පදිංචිකරුවෙක්.
තුවාලකාරිය අවුරුදු 30ක් වූ තැනැත්තියක වන අතර ඔවුන් එම ප්රදේශයේ තාවකාලිකව පදිංචිව සිටි අඹුසැමි යුවළක් බවයි පැවසෙන්නේ.
වැල්ලව පොලීසිය වැඩිදුර විමර්ශන සිදුකරනවා.
