Acting Inspector General of Police Attorney Priyantha Weerasuriya has stated that the relevant investigation has been instructed to be conducted by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
A complaint was also submitted to the Police Headquarters yesterday (23) requesting an investigation into the individuals who misused the President’s Fund.
The complaint was filed by the Lawyers for the Protection of Public Funds Organization.hi
