Public Security Minister Ananda Wijepala says that a special security program will be implemented in and around Kandy city during the Dalada Viharaya period.
The Minister stated this while participating in the meeting with the Malwathu and Asgiri Mahanayakes today (06).
The Minister stated that a special program will also be implemented for the infrastructure facilities of the people during the relevant period.
A discussion in this regard was also held in Kandy today under the patronage of the Minister.
The Sri Dalada Viharaya is scheduled to be held from the 18th to the 27th.

අමාත්යවරයා මේ බව සදහන් කළේ, මල්වතු අස්ගිරි මහානාහිමිවරුන් බැහැදැකීමේ අවස්ථාවට අද (06) එක්වෙමින්.
අමාත්යවරයා එහිදී සදහන් කළේ අදාළ කාල සීමාව තුළදී ජනතාවගේ යටිතල පහසුකම් වෙනුවෙන් ද විශේෂ වැඩපිළිවෙලක් ක්රියාත්මක බවයි.
ඊට අදාළ සාකච්ඡාවක් ද අමාත්යවරයාගේ ප්රධානත්වයෙන් අද මහනුවරදී පවත්වා තිබෙනවා.
සිරි දළදා වන්දනාව ලබන 18 වැනිදා සිට 27 වැනිදා දක්වා පැවැත්වීමට නියමිතයි.
