(17) The launch of several new digital systems for the Pension Department was held at the Colombo District Secretariat Auditorium under the patronage of the Minister of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government on (17) Vani.
It is stated that these integrated systems have been launched under five sectors in collaboration with several government departments and private institutions.
Accordingly, the five sectors include the department’s official website with improved services, the railway pass issuance system for pensioners, the registration information system for the widow and orphan system, the redesigned Public Employees Provident Fund process, and the pensioner death reporting information system (in collaboration with the Registrar’s Department).
The Ministry further stated that through the creation of these digital systems, it aims to provide the functions and services of the Department of Pensions to retirees in a more efficient and user-friendly manner.

රාජ්ය දෙපාර්තමේන්තු සහ පෞද්ගලික ආයතන කිහිපයක් සමග එක්ව අංශ පහක් යටතේ මෙම ඒකාබද්ධිත පද්ධතීන් දියත් කර තිබෙන බවයි සඳහන් වේ.
ඒ අනුව මේ සඳහා වැඩිදියුණු කරන ලද සේවා සහිත දෙපාර්තමේන්තු නිල වෙබ් අඩවිය, විශ්රාමිකයින් සඳහා දුම්රිය ගමන් බලපත්ර නිකුත් කිරීමේ පද්ධතිය, වැන්දඹු සහ අනත්දරු ක්රමයෙහි ලියාපදිංචි කිරීමේ තොරතුරු පද්ධතිය, ප්රතිනිර්මාණය කරන ලද රාජ්ය සේවක අර්ථ සාධක අරමුදල් ක්රියාවලිය, විශ්රාමික මරණ වාර්තා කිරීමේ තොරතුරු පද්ධතිය (රෙජිස්ට්රාර් දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව සමග ඒකාබද්ධව) යන අංශ පහක් ඇතුළත් වී ඇත.
මෙම ඩිජිටල් පද්ධතීන් නිර්මාණය කිරීම හරහා විශ්රාමික පිරිස් වෙත විශ්රාම වැටුප් දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ කාර්යයන් හා සේවාවන් වඩාත් කාර්යක්ෂම හා සුහදශීලිව ලබාදීමට අරමුණු කරන බවයි එම අමාත්යංශය වැඩිදුරටත් පවසා සිටී.
