The electricity tariff revision for the first half of 2025 is scheduled to be announced today (17).
Public comments from all provinces regarding the electricity tariff revision were received on December 17 last year and concluded on January 10.
The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka further stated that about 400 people submitted proposals during those sessions and all of them were studied.

2025 වසරේ පළමු භාගය සඳහා වන විදුලි ගාස්තු සංශෝධනය අද (17) ප්රකාශයට පත් කිරීමට නියමිතව තිබෙනවා.
විදුලි ගාස්තු සංශෝධනයට අදාළව සියලු පළාත්වලින් මහජන අදහස් ලබාගැනීම පසුගිය වසරේ දෙසැම්බර් 17 වැනිදා ආරම්භ කෙරුණු අතර, එය පසුගිය ජනවාරි 10 වනදා අවසන් කර තිබුණා.
එම සැසි වාරයන්වල දී පුද්ගලයින් 400 දෙනෙකු පමණ යෝජනා ඉදිරිපත් කිරීම් සිදුකළ බවත් ඒවා සියල්ල අධ්යනය කළ බවයි ශ්රී ලංකා මහජන උපයෝගීතා කොමිසම වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කළේ.
