A number of political parties have raised strong doubts regarding the educational qualifications of five more government ministers, including their doctorates.

As reported by ‘Lankadeepa’, questions have been raised regarding the educational qualifications of five people, including the doctorate of Urban Development, Construction and Housing Minister Anura Karunathilaka and the engineering degree of Energy Minister Engineer Kumara Jayakody.

The political parties are also currently working to obtain information regarding their educational qualifications under the Right to Information Act.

Meanwhile, reliable sources say that some members of the National People’s Power have suddenly removed certain educational qualifications listed on their Facebook pages.

However, an opposition member said that when checking the HISTORY section of those Facebook accounts, it is clear that the removals were made a few days ago.

Opposition political parties allege that some MPs had clearly mentioned these educational qualifications in their general election campaign leaflets, banners and posters

එසේම ඔවුන්ගේ අධ්‍යාපන සුදුසුකම් සම්බන්ධයෙන් තොරතුරු දැනගැනීමේ පනත යටතේ තොරතුරු ලබාගැනීමට ද එම දේශපාලන පක්ෂ මේ දිනවල කටයුතු කරමින් සිටී.

මේ අතර ජාතික ජන බලවේගයේ සමහර මන්ත්‍රීවරුන් සිය ෆේස්බුක්වල සටහන් කර තිබූ යම් යම් අධ්‍යාපන සුදුසුකම් හදිසියේම ඉවත් කරගෙන ඇතැයි විශ්වාස කටයුතු ආරංචි මාර්ගවලින් පැවැසේ.

කෙසේවෙතත් එම ෆේස්බුක් ගිණුම්වල ඉතිහාසය ( HISTORY) කොටස පරීක්ෂා කිරීමේදී එම ඉවත් කිරීම් මෙයට දින කිහිපයකට පෙර කර ඇති බව පැහැදිලි වන්නේ යැයි විපක්ෂයේ මන්ත්‍රීවරයෙක් පැවැසීය.

සමහර මන්ත්‍රීවරුන් මෙම අධ්‍යාපන සුදුසුකම් මහ මැතිවරණයේ ප්‍රචාරක පත්‍රිකාවල බැනර් සහ පෝස්ටර්වල පැහැදිලිවම සඳහන් කර තිබූ බව විපක්ෂයේ දේශපාලන පක්ෂ චෝදනා කරයි
