Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Livestock Namal Karunaratne says that there will be no shortage of rice during the festive season.
He stated that the imported rice stocks are scheduled to be received before the 20th.
The Deputy Minister further stated that the Maha season paddy harvesting will also be carried out by the end of next month.
