අධික කුලියක් ගෙවමින් විවිධ ගොඩනැගිලිවල පවත්වාගෙන යන රජයේ ආයතන රජය සතු ගොඩනැගිලි තුළට ගෙන ඒමට රජය තීරණය කර ඇතැයි කර්මාන්ත සහ ව්‍යවසායකත්ව සංවර්ධන අමාත්‍ය සුනිල් හඳුන්නෙත්ති මහතා පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ දී පැවසීය.

මැණික් හා ස්වර්ණාභරණ අධිකාරිය පවත්වාගෙන යන කාර්යාලයේ මාසික කුලිය ලක්ෂ පනහක් බවද ඔහු ප්‍රකාශ කළේය. මෙයට අමතරව වෙළෙඳ අමාත්‍යාංශයේ මාසික කුලිය ලක්ෂ 65 ක් බව ඔහු සඳහන් කළේය.

අමාත්‍යවරයා මෙසේ පැවසුවේ අතුරු සම්මත ගිණුම පිළිබඳ විවාදයේදී ය.

නව රජයේ අමාත්‍ය මණ්ඩලයේ 24 දෙනාම මිල නිවාස වලට නොගිය බවත් විදුලි බිලේ සිට වතුර බිලේ සිට මුදල් ඉතිරි කරන බවත් සුනිල් හඳුන්නෙත්ති මහතා පැවසීය.

Rent-paying government institutions to be moved to government buildings

The government has decided to move government institutions operating in various buildings at high rents into government-owned buildings, Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Minister Sunil Handunnetti said in Parliament.

He also stated that the monthly rent of the office where the Gem and Jewellery Authority is located is Rs. 500,0000. In addition to this, he mentioned that the monthly rent of the Ministry of Trade is Rs. 650,0000

The minister said this during the debate on the interim vote account.

Sunil Handunnetti said that all 24 members of the new government’s cabinet did not move to expensive houses and that they are saving money from electricity bills and water bills.
