A significant increase in state revenue is reported during the first 04 months of 2025.
The value of government revenue and grants recorded in the first months of 2024 is Rs. 1,218.07 billion, which has increased by Rs. 236.60 billion to Rs. 1,454.67 billion in the first 04 months of this year. This is an increase of 19.42%.
It is noteworthy that a tax revenue of Rs. 463.19 billion was recorded in the month of April 2025 alone. This increase in tax revenue has been reported especially due to the reopening of vehicle imports during that month.
Meanwhile, at the end of the first 04 months of 2025, the primary account balance recorded a positive value of Rs. 532.73 billion, while the overall budget deficit was Rs. 261.61 billion.
අප්රේල් මාසයේ දී බදු ආදායමේ කැපීපෙනෙන වැඩිවීමක්
2025 මුල් මාස 04 තුළ දී රාජ්ය ආදායමෙහි කැපීපෙනෙන ඉහළ යාමක් වාර්තා වේ.
2024 මුල් මාස තුළ වාර්තා වී තිබෙන රජයේ ආදායම් හා ප්රදාන වටිනාකම රු. බිලියන 1,218.07 ක් ලෙසින් වාර්තා වන අතර එය මෙම වසරේ පළමු මාස 04 තුළ දී රු. බිලියන 1,454.67 ක් දක්වා, රු. බිලියන 236.60 කින් වැඩි වී තිබේ. මෙය 19.42%ක වර්ධනයකි.
එහිදී රු. බිලියන 463.19ක බදු ආදායමක් 2025 අප්රේල් මාසය තුළ දී පමණක් වාර්තා වීම විශේෂත්වයකි. විශේෂයෙන් එම මාසය තුළ දී වාහන ආනයනය නැවත විවෘත කිරීම හේතුවෙන් මෙලෙස බදු ආදායමේ ඉහළ යාමක් වාර්තා වී තිබේ.
මේ අතර 2025 පළමු මාස 04 අවසානයේ දී ප්රාථමික ගිණුමේ ශේෂය රු. බිලියන 532.73 ක ධන අගයයක් වාර්තා කරන අතර සමස්ත අයවැය හිඟය රු. බිලියන 261.61 ක් ලෙසින් සටහන්ව ඇත.
