The forty candidates elected to the local government institutions in the Kandy District representing the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna are scheduled to be sworn in before the party’s Kandy District Organizer, Mr. C.B. Ratnayake, at 11.00 am today in Kandy.
Among the forty seats won by the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna in the local government institutions in the Kandy District in this year’s local government election, the highest number of seats have been elected to the Pathadumbara Pradeshiya Sabha, while only one seat has been won in the Kandy Municipal Council.
The Kandy leaders of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna, including Bandara Ruwan Jayawilal, Buddhika Samarasinghe, and Imesh Herath, are scheduled to participate in this event.

මෙවර පළාත් පාලන මැතිවරණයේදී මහනුවර දිස්ත්රික්කය තුල පළාත් පාලන ආයතන වල ශ්රී පොදුජන පෙරමුණ දිනාගෙන ඇති මන්ත්රී ධූර හතළිහ අතර වැඩිම මන්ත්රී ගණනක් තේරී පත් වී ඇත්තේ පාතදුම්බර ප්රාදේශීය සභාවට වන අතර එක් මන්ත්රී ධූරයක් පමණක් දිනා ගෙන ඇත්තේ මහනුවර මහ නගර සභාවේ ය.
