In a post on her official Facebook page, Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya said that it is a great pride for us as Sri Lankans that Anudi Gunasekara has come this far by representing Sri Lanka in the Miss World 2025 pageant.
It also states that her participation has drawn the attention of viewers in Sri Lanka and around the world to our own homeland.
The Prime Minister extended her best wishes for her future endeavors as follows.
