Harakkata alias Nadun Chinthaka, who is infamous as a criminal gang and drug trafficker in this country, has made a controversial statement, saying that he is being held in custody of the Tangalle Terrorism Investigation Division because he did not give 30 crore rupees to former Public Security Minister Tiran Alles and IGP Deshabandhu Tennakoon, who is on compulsory leave.
Suspect Harakkata made this statement to the media while being taken back after being produced before the Colombo High Court this morning (14).
Harakkata stated that he is being held in Tangalle spending about one crore rupees because the relevant amount was not given to the above-mentioned powerful people.
Colombo High Court Judge Sujeewa Nissanka today (14) ordered the Director of the Terrorism Investigation Division to have the medical condition of Nadun Chinthaka Wickramaratne alias Harakkata, who is said to be a major drug trafficker and underworld gang member detained at the Tangalle Old Prison, examined by the Judicial Medical Officer in charge of the area or a doctor nominated by him, and submit a report to his court.
Following the order, suspect Nadun Chinthaka made this statement while coming out of the court
කෝටියක් දීලා මාව තියං ඉන්නේ ටිරාන්ටයි දේශබන්දුටයි කෝටි 30ක් නොදුන්න හින්දා”
තමාව තංගල්ල ත්රස්ත විමර්ශන කොට්ඨාසය භාරයේ රඳවා තබාගෙන සිටින්නේ, හිටපු මහජන ආරක්ෂක අමාත්ය ටිරාන් අලස් සහ අනිවාර්යය රාජකාරි නිවාඩු යවා සිටින පොලිස්පති දේශබන්දු තෙන්නකෝන් යන අයවලුන් හට රුපියල් කෝටි 30ක් නොදුන් නිසාවෙන් බව මෙරට අපරාධ කල්ලි සහ මත්ද්රව්ය ජාවාරම්කරුවෙකු ලෙස කුප්රකටත්වයට පත් හරක්කටා හෙවත් නදුන් චින්තක ආන්දෝලනාත්මක ප්රකාශයක් සිදු කර තිබෙනවා.
අද (14) පෙරවරුවේ කොළඹ මහාධිකරණය හමුවට ඉදිරිපත් කිරීමෙන් අනතුරුව යළි ඔහු ව රැගෙන යන අතරතුරදියි සැකකාර හරක්කටා මෙම ප්රකාශය මාධ්ය වෙත සිදු කර ඇත්තේ.
තමන්ව තංගල්ලේ රුපියල් කෝටියක් පමණ වියදම් කරමින් තබාගෙන සිටින්නේ ඉහත කී ප්රබලයින් හට අදාළ මුදල ලබා නොදුන් නිසා බවයි හරක්කටා සඳහන් කරන්නේ.
තංගල්ල පැරණි බන්ධනාගාරයේ රඳවා සිටින ප්රධාන පෙළේ මත්ද්රව්ය ජාවාරම්කරුවෙකු සහ පාතාල කල්ලි සාමාජිකයෙකු යැයි කියන නදුන් චින්තක වික්රමරත්න හෙවත් හරක්කටාගේ රෝගී තත්ත්වය ප්රදේශය භාර අධිකරණ වෛද්ය නිලධාරියෙකු හෝ ඔහු විසින් නම් කරන වෛද්යවරයෙකු ලවා පරීක්ෂා කර තම අධිකරණයට වාර්තාවක් ඉදිරිපත් කරන ලෙස කොළඹ මහාධිකරණ විනිසුරු සුජීව නිශ්ශංක මහතා අද (14) ත්රස්ත විමර්ශන කොට්ඨාසයේ අධ්යක්ෂවරයාට නියෝග කර තිබෙනවා.
එම නියෝගයෙන් අනතුරුව අධිකරණයෙන් එළියට පැමිණෙමින් සැකකාර නදුන් චින්තක නමැත්තා මෙම ප්රකාශය සිදු කළා
