Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage has informed the court that the Bribery Commission is preparing to arrest him for importing a substandard organic fertilizer ship into the country during the previous government.
Therefore, Mahindananda Aluthgamage filed a petition before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court today (14) requesting his release on a pre-arrest bail.
Colombo Chief Magistrate Thanuja Lakmali has issued a notice to the Bribery Commission, asking him to present his case before the court on the 19th regarding the request.
ඉකුත් ආණ්ඩුව සමයේ ප්රමිතියෙන් තොර කාබනික පොහොර නැවක් මෙරටට ආනයනය කිරීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් තමන්ව අල්ලස් කොමිසම විසින් අත්අඩංගුවට ගැනීමට සූදානම් වන බව අමාත්ය මහින්දානන්ද අලුත්ගමගේ අධිකරණයට දැනුම්දී ඇත.
එම නිසා, ඊට පෙර අපේක්ෂිත ඇපයක් මත තමා මුදාහරින ලෙස ඉල්ලා මහින්දානන්ද අලුත්ගමගේ අද (14) කොළඹ මහේස්ත්රාත් අධිකරණය හමුවේ පෙත්සමක් ඉදිරිපත් ගොනුකළේය.
එම ඉල්ලීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් ලබන 19 වනදා අධිකරණය හමුවේ කරුණු දක්වන ලෙස දන්වා කොළඹ ප්රධාන මහේස්ත්රාත් තනූජා ලක්මාලී විසින් අල්ලස් කොමිසමට නොතීසි නිකුත් කර තිබේ.
