President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, who departed yesterday (03) for a state visit to Vietnam at the invitation of Vietnamese President Luong Cuong, arrived at Noi Bai International Airport in Vietnam this morning (04).
The President and his entourage were warmly welcomed by Nguyen Manh Cuong, a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and other state representatives. The reception was attended by Trinh Thi Tam, Ambassador of Vietnam to Sri Lanka, Mr. Positha Perera, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Vietnam, and a group of representatives from the Sri Lankan Embassy.
This afternoon, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is scheduled to meet with General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) To Lam at the Central Committee Headquarters in Hanoi.
Tomorrow (05), the President is scheduled to hold official discussions with the President and Prime Minister of Vietnam.
Furthermore, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, who will be the Chief Guest at the United Nations Vesak Day celebrations starting on May 06 in Ho Chi Minh City, will deliver the keynote address.
It is also expected that several MoUs will be signed between the two sides during this visit and that the business community will meet and hold discussions.
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Vijitha Herath and a group of senior government officials are accompanying President Anura Kumara Dissanayake on this state visit.
වියට්නාමයේ නෝයි බායි ජාත්යන්තර ගුවන් තොටුපළේදී ජනපති මහත් හරසරින් පිළිගැනේ
වියට්නාම් ජනාධිපති ලුඕං කුඕං (Luong Cuong) මහතාගේ ආරාධනයකට අනුව රාජ්ය සංචාරයක් සඳහා වියට්නාමය බලා ඊයේ (03) දිවයිනෙන් පිටත්ව ගිය ජනාධිපති අනුර කුමාර දිසානායක මහතා අද (04) පෙරවරුවේ වියට්නාමයේ නෝයි බායි ජාත්යන්තර ගුවන් තොටුපළට (Noi Bai International Airport) ළඟා විය.
එහිදී ජනාධිපතිවරයා ඇතුළු පිරිස වියට්නාමයේ කොමියුනිස්ට් පක්ෂ මධ්යම කමිටු සාමාජිකයෙකු සහ විදේශ කටයුතු නියෝජ්ය අමාත්ය න්ගුයෙන් මන් කුඕං (Nguyen Manh Cuong) මහතා ඇතුළු රාජ්ය නියෝජිතයන් විසින් මහත් හරසරින් යුතුව පිළිගනු ලැබිණි. මෙම පිළිගැනීමේ අවස්ථාවට ශ්රී ලංකාවේ වියට්නාම තානාපති වන ට්රින් තී ටැම් (Trinh Thi Tam), වියට්නාමයේ ශ්රී ලංකා තානාපති පෝෂිත පෙරේරා යන මහත්ම මහත්මින් සහ ශ්රී ලංකා තානාපති කාර්යාලයේ නියෝජිතයෝ පිරිසක්ද සහභාගි වූහ.
අද පස්වරුවේ ජනාධිපති අනුර කුමාර දිසානායක මහතා, හනෝයි හි පිහිටි වියට්නාම් කොමියුනිස්ට් පක්ෂයේ (CPV) මධ්යම කාරක සභා මූලස්ථානයේදී කොමියුනිස්ට් පක්ෂයේ ප්රධාන ලේකම් ටෝ ලාම් ( Tô Lâm) මහතා හමුවීමට නියමිතය.
හෙට (05) දිනයේදී ජනාධිපතිවරයා, වියට්නාම් ජනාධිපති සහ අගමැතිවරයා සමඟ නිල සාකච්ඡාවන්හි නිරත වීමටද නියමිතය.
තවද, හෝ චි මිං නගරයේදී මැයි 06 වෙනි දින ආරම්භ වන එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ වෙසක් දින උත්සවයේ ප්රධාන ආරාධිත අමුත්තා ලෙස සහභාගී වන ජනාධිපති අනුර කුමාර දිසානායක මහතා එහි ප්රධාන දේශනයද පවත්වනු ඇත.
එසේම, මෙම සංචාරයේදී දෙපාර්ශ්වය අතර අවබෝධතා ගිවිසුම් කිහිපයකට අත්සන් තැබීමටද, ව්යාපාරික ප්රජාව හමු වී සාකච්ඡා පැවැත්වීමටද අපේක්ෂිතය.
විදේශ කටයුතු, විදේශ රැකියා සහ සංචාරක අමාත්ය විජිත හේරත් මහතා සහ රජයේ ජ්යෙෂ්ඨ නිලධාරීහු පිරිසක් ජනාධිපති අනුර කුමාර දිසානායක මහතා සමඟ මෙම රාජ්ය සංචාරයට එක්ව සිටිති.
