The Election Commission has issued a notice regarding the removal of decorations from authorized and announced election offices.
The Commission states that all billboards, posters or decorative displays, except for billboards not exceeding 60 square feet for the purpose of introducing the offices, should not be displayed after midnight yesterday (03).
The Election Commission also announces that advertisements displayed on the vehicle in which the candidate is travelling and any other form of campaigning should not be carried out after midnight today.
ඡන්ද සැරසිලි ගැන මැතිවරණ කොමිසමෙන් නිවේදනයක්
අවසරලත් නිවේදිත ඡන්ද කාර්යාල සැරසිලි ඉවත් කිරීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් මැතිවරණ කොමිසම නිවේදනයක් නිකුත් කර තිබෙනවා.
එම කොමිසම සඳහන් කරන්නේ, පළාත් පාලන ආයතන මට්ටමින් සහ ඡන්ද කොට්ඨාස මට්ටමින් දැනට පිහිටුවා ඇති අවසරලත් නිවේදිත ඡන්ද කාර්යාලයක වුවද එම කාර්යාල හැදින්වීම සඳහා වූ වර්ග අඩි 60 නොඉක්ම වූ ප්රචාරක පුවරුව හැර අන් සියලු ප්රචාරක පුවරු, පෝස්ටර් හෝ සැරසිලි ප්රදර්ශන, ඊයේ (03) මධ්යම රාත්රියෙන් පසු ප්රදර්ශනය නොකළ යුතු බවයි.
එමෙන්ම අපේක්ෂකයා ගමන් ගන්නා වාහනයේ ප්රදර්ශනය කරන ප්රචාරක දැන්වීම් හා වෙනත් කිසිදු අයුරක ප්රචාරක කටයුතු අද මධ්යම රාත්රියෙන් පසු සිදු නොකළ යුතු බව මැතිවරණ කොමිසම නිවේනදය
