Senior Superintendent of Police Shani Abeysekara has been appointed to the committee investigating the Presidential Commission of Inquiry report on the Easter Sunday terror attacks.
The appointment was made by Acting IGP Priyantha Weerasuriya.
Accordingly, the four-member committee, chaired by Senior DIG Asanga Karawita, has been expanded to five members to study the investigation report.

ඒ අනුව, ජ්යෙෂ්ඨ නියෝජ්ය පොලිස්පති අසංග කරවිටගේ සභාපතිත්වයෙන් යුත් සිව්දෙනෙකුගෙන් යුත් කමිටුව, විමර්ශන වාර්තාව අධ්යයනය කිරීම සඳහා සාමාජිකයින් පස්දෙනකු දක්වා පුළුල් කර ඇත
