Special allowance for police officers involved in the security of the Dalada Vihara
It has been decided to provide special travel expenses and a composite allowance to police officers engaged in special duties for the “Siri Dalada Vihara”.
Issuing a statement, the Police Headquarters said that the police will implement a special security and traffic plan for the security of local and foreign devotees visiting the “Siri Dalada Vihara” at the Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy until the 27th.
The statement also states that the Acting Inspector General of Police has instructed all police officers participating in the event to provide special travel expenses and a composite allowance.
This decision has been taken after considering the additional expenses incurred by these officers due to their day and night duties away from their workplace for more than 10 days.

නිවේදනයක් නිකුත් කරමින් පොලිස් මූලස්ථානය පවසන්නේ ලබන 27 වනදා දක්වා මහනුවර ශ්රී දළදා මාලිගාවේ පැවැත්වෙන “සිරි දළදා වන්දනාව” සඳහා පැමිණෙන දෙස් විදෙස් බැතිමතුන්ගේ ආරක්ෂාව සඳහා පොලිසිය විසින් විශේෂ ආරක්ෂක සහ රථවාහන සැලැස්මක් ක්රියාත්මක කරන බවයි.
ඒ සඳහා සහභාගී වන සියලුම පොලිස් නිලධාරීන් සඳහා විශේෂ ගමන් වියදම් හා සංයුක්ත දීමනාවක් ලබාදීමට වැඩබලන පොලිස්පතිවරයා උපදෙස් ලබා දී ඇතැයි ද එම නිවේදනයේ සඳහන් වේ.
එම නිලධාරීන් සිය සේවා ස්ථානයෙන් බැහැරව දින 10 කට අධික කාලයක් සිදු කරන දිවා සහ රාත්රී රාජකාරි හේතුවෙන් ඔවුන්ට දැරීමට සිදුවන අමතර වියදම් සකලා බලා මෙම තීරණය ගෙන තිබේ
