President Anura Kumara Dissanayake arrived in Kandy this afternoon (18) to inaugurate the “Siri Dalada Viharaya”, which is being held after 16 years.
The President then joined in paying homage to the Tooth Relic.
A large group of diplomats also joined the event.
Later, the Sri Dalada Viharaya was opened to the public.
ජනපති සිරි දළදා වන්දනාවට එක්වූ අයුරු
වසර 16කට පසු මෙවර පැවැත්වෙන “සිරි දළදා වන්දනාව” සමාරම්භක අවස්ථාව සඳහා අද (18) දහවල් ජනාධිපති අනුර කුමාර දිසානායක මහතා මහනුවරට පැමිණියේය.
ඉන් අනතුරුව දළදා වහන්සේ වැද පුදා ගැනීමට ජනාධිපතිවරයා එක්විය.
මෙම අවස්ථාවට රාජ්ය තාන්ත්රිකයින් විශාල පිරිසක් ද එක්වී තිබුණි.
පසුව මහජනතාව සඳහා සිරි දළදා වන්දනාව ආරම්භ කෙරුණි.
