The people have had the opportunity to see the Tooth Relic as per a request made by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, says Agriculture Minister K. D. Lalkantha.
The Minister stated this while addressing an election campaign meeting of the National People’s Power held in the Harispattuwa area, Kandy.
The Minister stated that at the request of the President, people will now be able to see the Tooth Relic from the 18th, and that since the entire country is coming, they may have to queue for about 3 days.
However, Minister Lalkantha further said that people should participate in it as they will get results even if they go there.
ජනතාවට ශ්‍රී දළදා වහන්සේ දැකගැනීමට අවස්ථාව ලැබී ඇත්තේ ජනාධිපති අනුර කුමාර දිසානායක විසින් කරන ලද ඉල්ලීමක් අනුව බව කෘෂිකර්ම අමාත්‍ය කේ. ඩී. ලාල්කාන්ත පවසයි.
අමාත්‍යවරයා මේ බව සඳහන් කර සිටියේ මහනුවර, හාරිස්පත්තුව ප්‍රදේශයේ පැවති ජාතික ජන බලවේගයේ මැතිවරණ ප්‍රචාරක රැස්වීමක් අමතමිනි.
ජනාධිපතිතුමාගේ ඉල්ලීමට දැන් 18 වෙනිදා සිට දළදා හාමුදුරුවෝ දැකබලා ගන්න ලැබෙන බවත්, රටම එන බැවින් දින 3ක් පමණ පෝලිමේ සිටීමට සිදුවිය හැකි බවද අමාත්‍යවරයා සඳහන් කළේය .
කෙසේවෙතත් එහි ගියත් ප්‍රතිඵල ලැබෙන බැවින් ඒ සඳහා සහභාගී වන ලෙස ලාල් කාන්ත අමාත්‍යවරයා වැඩිදුරටත් පැවසීය.
