Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya has left for Paris, France on an official visit.
Accordingly, it is stated that the Prime Minister is scheduled to participate in a session of the International Expert Conference on ‘An Integrated and Sustainable Approach to the Protection of the World Heritage Site of the Sacred City of Anuradhapura in Sri Lanka and its Associated Living Heritage’, which will be held at UNESCO Headquarters from today (01) under the patronage of its Director-General.
In parallel with the conference, the Prime Minister is also scheduled to meet with senior representatives of the French government to discuss bilateral cooperation and areas of mutual interest.
It is further stated that the Sri Lankan delegation, along with the Prime Minister, has been joined by a group of officials, including the Minister of Buddhism, Religious and Cultural Affairs, Dr. Hiniduma Sunil Senevi.

ඒ අනුව අද (01) සිට UNESCO මූලස්ථානයේදී එහි අධ්‍යක්ෂවරි‍යගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් පැවැත්වෙන ‘ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ අනුරාධපුර පූජනීය නගරයේ ලෝක උරුමය ආරක්ෂා කිරීම සඳහා ඒකාබද්ධ හා තිරසාර ප්‍රවේශයක් සහ ඒ ආශ්‍රිත ජීවන උරුමය’ පිළිබඳ ජාත්‍යන්තර විශේෂඥ සමුළුවේ සැසිවාරයක් සඳහා අග්‍රාමාත්‍යවරිය සහභාගී වීමට නියමිත බවයි සඳහන් වෙන්නේ.
සමුළුවට සමගාමීව, ද්විපාර්ශ්වික සහයෝගීතාව සහ අන්‍යෝන්‍ය වශයෙන් උනන්දුවක් දක්වන ක්ෂේත්‍ර පිළිබඳ සාකච්ඡා කිරීම සඳහා අග්‍රාමාත්‍යවරිය ප්‍රංශ රජයේ ජ්‍යෙෂ්ඨ නියෝජිතයින් හමුවීමට ද නියමිතව තිබෙනවා.
අග්‍රාමාත්‍යවරිය සමග ශ්‍රී ලාංකික දූත පිරිසට බුද්ධ ශාසන, ආගමික හා සංස්කෘතික කටයුතු අමාත්‍ය ආචාර්ය හිනිදුම සුනිල් සෙනෙවි මහතා ඇතුළු නිලධාරීන් පිරිසක් ද එක් වී ඇති බවයි වැඩිදුරටත් දැක්වන්නේ.
