Three newly appointed foreign ambassadors to Sri Lanka presented their credentials to President Anura Kumara Dissanayake at the Presidential Secretariat today (24).
The new ambassadors are from France, Palestine and Nepal.
Accordingly,
Mr. Remi Lambert has been appointed as the French Ambassador,
Mr. Ihab I.M. Khalil as the Palestinian Ambassador,
Dr. Purna Bahadur Nepali as the Nepalese Ambassador.
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Vijitha Herath and Secretary to the President Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake were also present at the event.
ශ්රී ලංකාවට අලුතින් පත්ව පැමිණි විදේශ තානාපතිවරු තිදෙනෙක් අද (24) ජනාධිපති කාර්යාලයේදි ජනාධිපති අනුර කුමාර දිසානායක මහතා වෙත සිය අක්තපත්ර භාර දුන්හ.
ප්රංශය, පලස්තීනය හා නේපාලය යන රටවල් වෙනුවෙන් මෙලෙස නව තානාපතිවරු පත්ව සිටී.
ඒ අනුව,
ප්රංශ තානාපතිවරයා ලෙස රෙමි ලැම්බර්ට් මහතාද (Mr. Remi Lambert),
පලස්තීන තානාපතිවරයා ලෙස ඉහාබ් අයි.එම්.කලීල් මහතාද (Mr.Ihab I.M. Khalil)
නේපාල තානාපතිවරයා ලෙස ආචාර්ය පූර්ණ බහදූර් නේපාලි මහතාද (Dr. Purna Bahadur Nepali) පත්ව ඇත.
විදේශ කටයුතු, විදේශ රැකියා සහ සංචාරක අමාත්ය විජිත හේරත් , ජනාධිපති ලේකම් ආචාර්ය නන්දික සනත් කුමානායක යන මහත්වරුද මෙම අවස්ථාවට එක්ව සිටියහ.
