Public Security Minister Ananda Wijepala says that three people have been arrested in connection with the shooting that occurred at the Kadewatte Junction in the Middeniya Police Division.
Accordingly, the Minister stated in a special statement in Parliament a few moments ago today (21) that three people, including a police constable, were arrested about an hour ago.
A father, daughter and son had died in a shooting at the Kadewatte Junction in the Middeniya Police Division recently.

මිද්දෙණිය පොලිස් වසමේ කඩේවත්ත හන්දියේදී සිදුවූ වෙඩි තැබීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් තිදෙනෙක් අත්අඩංගුවට ගත් බව මහජන ආරක්ෂක අමාත්ය ආනන්ද විජේපාල පවසනවා.
ඒ අනුව පොලිස් කොස්තාපල්වරයෙක් ඇතුළු තිදෙනෙක් මීට පැයට පමණ පෙර අත්අඩංගුවට ගත් බවයි අද (21) මීට සුළු මොහොතකට පෙර පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේදී විශේෂ ප්රකාශයක් කරමින් අමාත්යවරයා සඳහන් කළේ.
පසුගියදා මිද්දෙණිය පොලිස් වසමේ කඩේවත්ත හන්දියේදී වෙඩි තැබීමෙන් පියා සහ දියණිය සහ පුත්රයා මියගොස් තිබුණා.
