President Anura Kumara Dissanayake says that investigations reveal that the underworld has spread to certain individuals in official institutions that exist for the security of the people, and all measures will be taken to end the underworld in the future.
He made this statement during the first meeting of the Ministerial Consultative Committee on Security of the Tenth Parliament, which was held in Parliament today (20).
Expressing his views on the security of the country’s court complexes, Minister of Justice and National Integration, Attorney-at-Law Harshana Nanayakkara said that a proposal has been prepared regarding the security of court complexes and that steps will be taken to increase the security of court complexes by examining all parties including lawyers in the future and using modern technology.

ජනතාවගේ ආරක්ෂාව සඳහා පවතින නිල ආයතනවල ඇතැම් පුද්ගලයන් දක්වාම පාතාලය පැතිරී ඇති බව විමර්ශනවලින් හෙළිවන බවත්, ඉදිරි කාලය තුළ පාතාලය අවසන් කිරීමට සියලු ක්රියාමාර්ග ගන්නා බවත් ජනාධිපති අනුර කුමාර දිසානායක මහතා පවසනවා.
ඒ මහතා මේ බව සඳහන් කර තිබුණේ, දසවැනි පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ ආරක්ෂක කටයුතු පිළිබඳ අමාත්යාංශයීය උපදේශක කාරක සභාවේ පළමු රැස්වීම අද (20) පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේදී රැස් වූ අවස්ථාවේදී යි.
මෙහිදී මෙරට අධිකරණ සංකීර්ණවල ආරක්ෂාව පිළිබඳ අදහස් දක්වමින් අධිකරණ සහ ජාතික ඒකාබද්ධතා අමාත්ය නීතිඥ හර්ෂණ නානායක්කාර පවසා සිටියේ අධිකරණ සංකීර්ණවල ආරක්ෂාව සම්බන්ධව යෝජනාවලියක් සකස් කොට ඇති බවත් ඉදිරියේදී නීතිඥයන් ඇතුළු සියලු පාර්ශ්ව පරීක්ෂාවට ලක්කරමින් නවීන තාක්ෂණය ද භාවිතකොට අධිකරණ සංකීර්ණවල ආරක්ෂාව වැඩිකිරීමට පියවර ගන්නා බවයි.
