The Sri Lanka Vehicle Importers Association says that the first batch of vehicles ordered for this country will arrive in the island after the 25th of February.
Participating in a press conference held yesterday (08), its Chairman Prasad Manage stated that it is planned to import about 1000 vehicles in the first phase.
He also said that the second batch of vehicles is scheduled to arrive in the country by the second week of March and that customers will be able to get any type of vehicle they want at that stage.
“Generally, vehicles start from around 60 lakhs and go up, an Alto, Wagon RFX can be bought for around 60-65 lakhs, a vehicle like Yaris starts from 85 lakhs and up. While you are waiting for the vehicle to arrive in Sri Lanka, you can choose for yourself. You can go to several showrooms and check the price and buy the vehicle.
පළමු වාහන තොගය එන දිනය මෙන්න
මෙරටට ඇණවුම් කළ පළමු වාහන තොගය එළඹෙන පෙබරවාරි 25 වැනි දිනෙන් පසු දිවයිනට ළඟා වන බව, ශ්රී ලංකා වාහන ආනයනකරුවන්ගේ සංගමය පවසනවා.
ඊයේ (08) පැවති ප්රවෘත්ති සාකච්ඡාවකට එක්වෙමින් එහි සභාපති ප්රසාද් මානගේ මහතා සඳහන් කළේ, පළමු අදියරේදී වාහන 1000ක් පමණ ගෙන්වීමට සැලසුම් කර ඇති බවයි.
එමෙන්ම දෙවන වාහන තොගය මාර්තු දෙවෙනි සතිය වන විට මෙරටට ලැබීමට නියමිත බවත් පාරිභෝගිකයින්ට අවශ්ය ඕනෑම වර්ගයක වාහනයක් එම අදියරයේදී ලබා ගැනීමට හැකි බවත් ඔහු පවසා සිටියා.
“ සමාන්යයෙන් ලක්ෂ 60 පමණ ඉඳලා වාහන ඉහළට යන්න තියෙනවා, Alto රථයක්, Wagon RFX ලක්ෂ 60- 65 වගේ මුදලකට ගන්න පුළුවන්, Yaris වගේ වාහනයක් ලක්ෂ 85 ඉඳලා ඉහළට තියෙනවා. ලංකාවට වාහනේ එනකන් ඉන්න හිටියම ඔබටම තෝරාගන්න පුළුවන්. ශෝරූම්ස් කිහිපයකට ගිහින් හරි මිල බලලා වාහනය ගන්න පුළුවන්”
