Sri Lanka Customs has clarified the facts regarding the release of 323 imported containers without customs inspection.
Accordingly, it has been stated that none of the containers imported under the name of Expo Lanka are included among the released containers.
Sri Lanka Customs has further stated that there is no possibility of goods such as weapons, gold and drugs entering the country illegally and losing customs revenue.

ආනයන බහාලුම් 323 ක් රේගු පරීක්ෂාවකින් තොරව නිදහස් කිරීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් ශ්රී ලංකා රේගුව විසින් කරුණු පැහැදිළි කිරීමක් සිදුකර තිබෙනවා.
ඒ අනුව නිදහස් කරන ලද බහාලුම් අතර එක්ස්පෝ ලංකා යන ආයතනය නමින් ආනයනය කර ඇති බහාලුම් කිසිවක් අඩංගු නොවන බවයි සඳහන් කර ඇත්තේ.
එසේම අවි ආයුධ, රත්රන් හා මත්ද්රව්ය වැනි භාණ්ඩ නීති විරෝධිව රට තුළට පැමිණීමේ හා රේගු ආදායම අහිමිවීමේ හැකියාවක් නොපැවති බවයි ශ්රී ලංකා රේගුව වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කර ඇත්තේ.
