පෙනහලු සහ ශ්වසන මාර්ගයට බලපාන මෙම වෛරස තත්ත්වය කුඩා දරුවන්ට වැඩිහිටියන්ට සහ ප්රතිශක්තිකරණය දුර්වල පුද්ගලයින්ට බලපාන බව වෛද්යවරුන් පෙන්වා දී තිබෙයි.
ඉන්දීය සෞඛ්ය විශේෂඥයින් පෙන්වා දෙන්නේ මෙම වෛරස තත්ත්වය එතරම් බරපතළ නොවනු ඇති බවය.
