A decision has been taken not to pay the holiday allowance for Parliament employees.
Government sources said that this decision has been taken considering the prevailing economic situation.
This step has been taken following the suggestion by economic consultants that it would set a bad precedent if this allowance was given only to Parliament employees and made special.
About 1200 Parliament employees were entitled to receive this allowance.
