The Chinese government has planned to launch a housing project for low-income earners in Sri Lanka.
Accordingly, 1888 housing units are to be constructed as a grant from the People’s Republic of China Government.
A financial assistance of Rs. 22 billion will be provided for this and under the first phase, the project is proposed to construct 575 houses in the Rawathawatta area of Moratuwa and 108 housing units for artists in the Kottawa area.
As the second phase, the Dematagoda project will construct 586 houses and the Maharagama project will construct 112 houses.
In the third phase, 615 houses are planned to be constructed in the Peliyagoda area.
Accordingly, this housing project, which will start in 5 selected locations, is scheduled to be completed in 36 months.
The project aims to improve the living standards of low-income families, reflecting the close and enduring ties between Sri Lanka and China.
අඩු ආදායම්ලාභීන්ගේ නිවාස සිහිනය සැබෑ වෙයි
චීන රජයෙන් ශ්රී ලංකාවේ අඩු ආදායම්ලාභීන්ට නිවාස ව්යාපෘතියක් ආරම්භ කිරීමට සැලසුම් කර තිබෙනවා.
ඒ අනුව, මහජන චීන සමූහ ආණ්ඩුවේ ප්රදානයක් ලෙස නිවාස ඒකක 1888ක් ඉදිකිරීමට නියමිතයි.
මේ සඳහා රුපියල් බිලියන 22 ක මූල්ය ආධාර ලබා දෙන අතර පළමු අදියර යටතේ ව්යාපෘතිය මොරටුව රාවතාවත්ත ප්රදේශයේදී නිවාස 575ක් ද කොට්ටාව ප්රදේශයේ කලා කරුවන් වෙනුවෙන් නිවාස ඒකක 108ක්ද ඉදි කිරීමට යෝජිතයි.
එහි දෙවන අදියර ලෙස දෙමටගොඩ ව්යාපෘතිය නිවාස 586ක් සහ මහරගම ව්යාපෘතියෙන් නිවාස 112ක් ඉදි කෙරෙනවා.
මෙහි තෙවන අදියරේ දී පෑලියගොඩ ප්රදේශයේ නිවාස 615ක් ඉදි කිරීමටයි සැලසුම් කර ඇත්තේ.
ඒ අනුව තෝරාගත් ස්ථාන 5ක ආරම්භ වන මෙම නිවාස ව්යාපෘතිය මාස 36කින් සාදා නිම කිරීමට නියමිතව තිබෙනවා.
ශ්රී ලංකාව සහ චීනය අතර පවතින සමීප සහ කල්පවත්නා සබඳතා පිළිබිඹු කරමින් අඩු ආදායම්ලාබී පවුල්වල ජීවන තත්ත්වය වැඩි දියුණු කිරීම මෙම ව්යාපෘතියේ අරමුණයි.
