The All Ceylon Livestock Producers Association says there will be no shortage of chicken and eggs during the festive season.
Its Chairman Ajith Gunasekara stated that sufficient stocks are being released to the market based on the need.
The Chairman stated that a kilogram of frozen chicken can be purchased for less than a thousand rupees.
He stated that an egg is priced between 31 and 33 rupees.
