Minister of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs Ananda Wijepala says that all members of the Tri-Forces, except for police officers, who are providing security to retired presidents, will be removed from next week.
Minister Ananda Wijepala made this statement in Parliament today (17).
He further stated that Rs. 1,448 million has been spent on the security of former presidents and their wives in the past 11 months

පොලිසියේ නිලධාරීන් හැර, විශ්රාමික ජනාධිපතිවරුන්ගේ ආරක්ෂාවට සිටින ත්රිවිධ හමුදාවේ සියළුම සාමාජිකයන් ලබන සතියේ සිට ඉවත් කරන බව මහජන ආරක්ෂක සහ පාර්ලිමේන්තු කටයුතු අමාත්ය ආනන්ද විජේපාල මහතා පවසනවා.
අද (17) පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේදී විශේෂ ප්රකාශයක් සිදු කරමින් අමාත්ය ආනන්ද විජේපාල මහතා මේ බව සඳහන් කළා.
ඔහු එහිදී වැඩිදුරටත් කියා සිටියේ, හිටපු ජනාධිපතිවරුන් සහ ඔවුන්ගේ බිරින්දෑවරුන්ගේ ආරක්ෂාව වෙනුවෙන් ගතවූ මාස 11ට රුපියල් මිලියන 1,448ක් වියදම් කර ඇති බවයි.
