Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP Nalin Bandara says that the opposition will propose a name for the Speaker’s post.
He stated this while participating in a media briefing held in Colombo today.
Nalin Bandara also said that his party does not have confidence in the qualifications of the next ‘Speaker’ of the Compass.
The MP further stated that this name will be proposed at the upcoming parliamentary meeting scheduled for the 17th.

කථානායක ධුරය සඳහා විපක්ෂයෙන් නමක් යෝජනා කරන බව සමගි ජන බලවේගයේ පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්රී නලින් බණ්ඩාර සඳහන් කරනවා.
අද දින කොළඹ පැවති මාධ්ය හමුවකට එක්වෙමින් ඔහු මේ බැව් සඳහන් කළා.
ඊළඟට පත්වන මාලිමාවේ ‘කතානායක’ගේ සුදුසුකම් සම්බන්ධයෙන් තම පක්ෂයට විශ්වාසයක් නොමැති බව ද නලින් බණ්ඩාර පැවසුවා.
එළැඹෙන 17 රැස්වීමට නියමිත පාර්ලිමේන්තු රැස්වීමේදී මෙම නම යෝජනා කරන බවයි මන්ත්රීවරයා වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කළේ.
