The Human Rights Protection Organization is initiated as identified need of human rights protection in Sri Lanka and to aware community on their rights and Sri Lanka citizens. Dr. M. M. Shafaan is remarkable as the founder of the Human Rights Protection Organization as his great vision and Rev. Dimuthu Daluwatte is the person committed to develop the organization in to National and International level using his competencies. Honoring his commitment, Dr. M. M. Shafaan appointed him as the Executive Director of the Human Rights Protection Organization and further appointed as a Justice of Peace for Whole Island.
Rev. Dimuthu Daluwatte is working as the Chief Priest of the Faith Ministry of Christ Church and mission in Galewela. He has qualified with BSc. (Fisheries and Marine Science) Special degree in University of Ruhuna and he further qualified with M.A. (Christian Ministries) in Assemblies of God Bible College. He further completed his Master of Divinity in New Life Bible Seminary in India and Master of Arts in Organization Leadership in Development Associates International. At Present he is reading for Ph. D. in Water Management. In his profession, he is a Professional Statistician under Institute of Applied Statistics of Sri Lanka and Monitoring and Evaluation Professional in Development Sector and the member of Sri Lanka Evaluation Association. Further he is a researcher and a academic in Water Management and published many researches on Water Management in Authentic Journals and International Conferences. At present his academic background and experiences are contributing to uplift Human Rights Protection Organization.
