With the decentralization of the functions of the President’s Fund to the Divisional Secretariats, the number of medical aid applications received by it has increased. At the same time, it has become essential to educate and train the relevant staff of the Divisional Secretariats on the new computer-based online system.
As one of the steps, a training program has been prepared to be held at the Kilinochchi District Secretariat on 2025.06.21 for the Divisional Secretaries of the Jaffna, Kilinochchi, Mullaitivu, Mannar and Vavuniya districts of the Northern Province and the subject officers dealing with the President’s Fund.
Through this program, it is expected to increase the number of beneficiaries of the President’s Fund in the Northern Province, provide high-quality service to the beneficiaries, introduce modernized online systems and provide more prompt services.
It has been a primary objective of the Board of Governors led by the current President to implement the President’s Fund, which provided benefits to a limited group of people centrally in Colombo, as a people’s fund that provides benefits to people living throughout the country, and to achieve that objective, such training programs are to be implemented in other provinces in the future.

එහි එක් පියවරක් ලෙස උතුරු පළාතේ යාපනය, කිලිනොච්චිය, මුලතිව්, මන්නාරම හා වවුනියාව දිස්ත්රික්කවල ප්රාදේශීය ලේකම්වරු හා ජනාධිපති අරමුදල සම්බන්ධයෙන් කටයුතු කරනු ලබන විෂය නිලධාරීන් සඳහා පුහුණු වැඩසටහනක් 2025.06.21 දින කිලිනොච්චිය දිස්ත්රික් ලේකම් කාර්යාලයේ දී පැවැත්වීමට කටයුතු සූදානම් කර ඇත.
මෙම වැඩසටහන මඟින්, උතුරු පළාතේ ජනාධිපති අරමුදලේ ප්රතිලාභීන් ප්රමාණය වැඩි කිරීම, ප්රතිලාභීන් වෙත ඉහළ ගුණාත්මක සේවාවක් ලබා දීම, නවීකරණය වූ මාර්ගගත ක්රමවේද හදුන්වා දීම හා වඩාත් කඩිනම් සේවාවන් සැපයීම පිණිස අදාළ දැනුම හා පුහුණුව ලබා දීමට අපේක්ෂිතය.
කොළඹ කේන්ද්රීයව සීමිත පිරිසක් සඳහා ප්රතිලාභ ලබා දුන් ජනාධිපති අරමුදල රට පුරා වෙසෙන ජනතාව වෙත ප්රතිලාභ ලබා දෙන ජනතාවගේ අරමුදලක් ලෙස ක්රියාත්මක කිරීම වර්තමාන ජනාධිපතිවරයා ප්රමුඛ පාලක මණ්ඩලයේ මූලික අරමුණක් වී ඇති අතර එම අරමුණ ඉටු කර ගැනීම සඳහා මෙවැනි පුහුණු වැඩසටහන් අනෙකුත් පළාත්වල ද ඉදිරියේ දී ක්රියාත්මක කිරීමට නියමිතය.
