I suspect that WhatsApp account hacking may have occurred by people who are not the owners of the account. Fraudulent messages with unauthorized money requests are being spread through this account.
Here is the content of the message being spread:
“I am trying to send money to a friend, but I cannot send it. I think there is a problem with my details. If you can, help me send Rs. 100,000 to that person’s details. I will return the money tomorrow morning.”

වට්ස්ඇප් ගිණුම් අයිතිකරු නොවන අය විසින් හැක් කර ගැනීමක් සිදුවී හැකි බව සදහාන් කරමි මෙම ගිණුම හරහා අනවසරයෙන් මුදල් ඉල්ලීම් සහිත වංචා පණිවිඩ පැතිරෙමින් පවතිනවා.
පැතිරෙන පණිවිඩයේ අන්තර්ගතය මෙහෙයි:
“මට මිතුරෙකුට මුදල් යැවීමට උත්සාහ කරනවා, නමුත් යැවිය නොහැකියි. මගේ විස්තර වල ගැටලුවක් ඇතිව ඇති කියලා හිතෙනවා. ඔබට පුළුවන් නම්, ඒ පුද්ගලයාගේ විස්තර වලට රු.100,000ක් යැවීමට උදව් කරන්න. මම හෙට උදෑසනම මුදල් ආපසු දෙනවා.”
