A ceremony to award letters of appointment to 3147 new nurses to be appointed to the nursing service in this country will be held tomorrow (Saturday, May 24, 2025) at 9.30 am under the patronage of the Prime Minister at the Assembly Hall of Temple Trees.
This is the first time in the history of the nursing service in this country that such a large number of nurses will be awarded letters of appointment at once.
In parallel with this ceremony, promotions will also be awarded to 79 special grade officers in the nursing service.
The ceremony, which will be held under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya and with the participation of the Minister of Health and Mass Media Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, will be attended by a group of officials including the Secretary to the Ministry of Health and Mass Media, Specialist Dr. Anil Jasinghe.
හෙද සේවය සඳහා අලුතින් 3147ක් සේවයට
මෙරට හෙද සේවය සඳහා බඳවාගත් 3147 දෙනෙකුට පත්වීම් ලිපි ප්රදානය කිරීමේ උත්සවයක් හෙට (2025 මැයි 24 සෙනසුරාදා) පෙරවරු 9.30 ට අගමැති ප්රධානත්වයෙන් අරලියගහ මන්දිර පරිශ්රයේ රැස්වීම් ශාලාවේ දී පැවැත්වීමට නියමිතයි.
මෙරට හෙද සේවා ඉතිහාසයේ මෙපමණ ප්රමාණයකට එකවර පත්වීම් ලිපි ප්රදානය කරනු ලබන පළමුවන අවස්ථාව මෙය වෙනවා.
මෙම උත්සවයට සමගාමීව හෙද සේවයේ විශේෂ ශ්රේණියේ නිලධාරීන් 79 දෙනෙකු සඳහා උසස්වීම් ප්රදානය කිරීම ද මෙහිදී සිදුකිරීමට නියමිතයි.
අග්රාමාත්ය ආචාර්ය හරිනි අමරසූරිය මැතිනියගේ ප්රධානත්වයෙන් සහ සෞඛ්ය හා ජනමාධ්ය අමාත්ය වෛද්ය නලින්ද ජයතිස්ස මහතාගේ සහභාගීත්වයෙන් පැවැත්වෙන මෙම උත්සවයට සෞඛ්ය හා ජනමාධ්ය අමාත්යාංශයේ ලේකම් විශේෂඥ වෛද්ය අනිල් ජාසිංහ මහතා ඇතුළු නිලධාරීන් පිරිසක් ද එක්වීමට නියමිතයි.
