All peace-loving parties in the world should come together to stop the growing war between India and Pakistan and exert broad influence on the leaders of both countries to stop the mass genocide,
Human Rights Watch Chief Executive Director and SFM News Editor-in-Chief Deshamanya M.M. Shafana points out.
He said that all organizations scattered not only in South Asia but also around the world should unite for this and build a broad force to immediately stop the war.
If the Indo-Pakistani war escalates, its serious consequences will directly affect not only the people of those two countries but also the people of Sri Lanka and the entire world, and therefore, this pressure should be exerted on both countries to stop the conflict and resolve the crisis through negotiations, said Mr. Shafan.
Pointing out that innocent people around the world are suffering so much that they are caught in destructive wars, and despite this, the leaders of both countries should be made to understand that if the conflicts in India and Pakistan, where a large number of innocent people live, escalate, they will be further helpless by intervening in a war that has no purpose and no end, Mr. Shafan said that the existing civil society activist organizations in the world should exert this pressure as a single network.
Even though India is a powerful country in the world, if a war breaks out, countries that are against India will definitely help Pakistan. Similarly, countries that are against Pakistan will help India. Many countries that have established their markets in those countries are openly or secretly helping both sides in this conflict. Not only arms dealers, but also many parties that create wars around the world and secure their existence through them allow these wars to develop. But we all know the bitterness of war. Innocent people who never contribute to a war die because of these wars. Standing up for their lives is standing up for human rights.

ලොව පුරා අහිංසක ජනයා විනාශකාරී යුද්ධ වලට මැදිවී ඇති තරම් පීඩා විදින බවද එසේ තිබියදී විශාල වශයෙන් අහිංසක ජනතාව වාසය කරන ඉන්දියාවේ හා පාකිස්තානයේ යුද ගැටුම් වර්ධනය වුවහොත් ඔවුන් අරමුණක් හා නිමාවක් නොමැති යුද්ධයකට මැදිහත් වී තවදුරටත් අසරණ වන බව දෙරටේම නායකයින්ට අවබෝධ කර දිය යුතු බවද පෙන්වා දෙන ෂෆාන් මහතා ලොව දැනට පවතින සිවිල් සමාජ ක්‍රියාකාරී සංවිධාන එක ජාලයක් ලෙස මෙම බලපෑම් සිදු කළ යුතු යැයිද පවසයි .
ඉන්දියාව ලොව බලගතු රාජ්‍යයක් වුවත් යුද්ධයක් ඇති වුවහොත් ඉන්දියාවට එරෙහි රටවල් පාකිස්තානයට නිසැකවම උදව් කරනවා.ඒ වගේම තමයි පාකිස්තානයට එරෙහි රටවල් ඉන්දියාවට උදව් කරනවා.එම රටවල් තුල තමන්ගේ වෙළෙඳ පොල සකසා ගෙන ඇති බොහෝ රටවල් එළිපිට හෝ රහසිගතව මේ ගැටුමේදී පාර්ශ්ව දෙකටම උදව් කරනවා.අවි ආයුධ අලෙවි කරුවන් පමණක් නොව ලොව පුරා යුද්ධ ඇති කර ඒ මගින් තම පැවැත්ම තහවුරු කර ගන්නා පාර්ශ්ව රැසක් මේ යුද්ධ වර්ධනය වීමට ඉඩහරිනවා.නමුත් අපි කවුරුත් දන්නවා යුද්ධයක ඇති කටුක බව. මේ යුද්ධ නිසා කිසිදාක යුද්ධයක් සදහා දායක නොවන අහිංසක ජනතාව මිය යනවා.ඔවුන්ගේ ජීවිතය ආරක්ෂා කිරීම වෙනුවෙන් පෙනී සිටීම මානව අයිතිවාසිකම් වෙනුවෙන් පෙනී සිටීමක්.
