Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya says that until now, political protection has been provided for crimes in the country.
The Prime Minister also states that drug traffickers have been given the opportunity to live freely.
Harini Amarasuriya emphasizes that criminals will no longer receive political protection and that the law will be enforced against anyone who breaks the law.
She stated this while joining a public meeting of the National People’s Forces for the local government elections held in Dematagoda.

මෙතෙක් කල් රටේ අපරාධ සඳහා දේශපාලන රැකවරණ ලැබුණු බව අගමැතිනි හරිනි අමරසූරිය පවසයි.
ඒ නිසා මත්ද්‍රව්‍ය ජාවාරම්කරුවන්ට නිදහසේ ජීවත් වීමට අවස්ථාව ලැබුණු බව ද අගමැතිනිය ප්‍රකාශ කරයි.
තව දුරටත් අපරාධකරුවන්ට දේශපාලන රැකවරණ නොලැබෙන බවත් නීතිය කඩන ඕනෑම අයකුට විරුද්ධව නීතිය ක්‍රියාත්මක කරන බවත් හරිනි අමරසූරිය අවධාරණය කරයි.
