A shooting incident occurred in the Hirana area of Panadura early this morning (29).
Accordingly, two people were injured in the shooting and one person died after being admitted to the hospital.
Police stated that the shooting was carried out by two men who arrived on a motorcycle during a party held at a house at night.
The statement issued in this regard is below.
පානදුර වෙඩි තැබීමක් – පුද්ගලයෙක් ජීවිතක්ෂයට
පානදුර, හිරණ ප්‍රදේශයේ අද (29) අලුයම වෙඩි තැබීමක් සිදුව තිබෙනවා.
ඒ අනුව එම වෙඩි තැබීමෙන් පුද්ගලයින් දෙදෙනෙක් තුවාල ලබා ඇති අතර ඔවුන් රෝහල්ගත කිරීමෙන් අනතුරුව එක් පුද්ගලයෙක් මියගොස් ඇති බවයි සඳහන් වෙන්නේ.
රාත්‍රියේ නිවසේ පැවැති සාදයක් අතරතුර යතුරු පැදියකින් පැමිණි දෙදෙනෙක් විසින් මෙම වෙඩි තැබීම සිදුකර ඇති බවයි පොලීසිය සඳහන් කළේ.
