It is reported that the reduction of allowances of all staff of Parliament from 70 percent to 39 percent under the new salary revision has caused serious unrest among the parliamentarians.
Sources said that the employees are preparing to take strong trade union action in the coming days due to these allowance cuts.
They have already complained to the heads of the parliament regarding the reduction of allowances of the parliamentarians.

නව වැටුප් සංශෝධන යටතේ පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ සියලුම කාර්ය මණ්ඩලයන්හි දීමනා සියයට 70 සිට සියයට 39 දක්වා අඩු කිරීමෙන් පාර්ලිමේන්තු සේවකයන් තුළ බරපතළ නොසන්සුන්තාවක් මතුව තිබෙන බව වාර්තාවේ.

පාර්ලිමේන්තු සේවකයන්ගේ දීමනා අඩු කිරීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් ඔවුන් දැනටමත් පාර්ලිමේන්තු ප්රධානීන්ට පැමිණිලි කර ඇත.
අතිකාල දීමනා නොමැතිකම මෙන්ම වැටුප් විෂමතා හේතුවෙන් පසුගිය රජයන් ගණනාවක්ම පාර්ලිමේන්තු සේවකයන්ට මෙම විශේෂ දීමනා කාලයක් තිස්සේ නොකඩවාම ලබා දී තිබූ බව පැවසේ.
දීමනා කප්පාදුවට එරෙහිව ඉදිරියේදි පාර්ලිමේන්තු සේවකයින් අකුරට වැඩ කිරීමේ ක්රියාමාර්ගයක් ගැනීමටද සූදානම් වන බව දැනගන්නට ඇත
