An order has been issued prohibiting a group of protesters from entering the Hospital Square, the Ministry of Health and the hospitals located nearby, from holding protests, marches and standing in front of the Ministry of Health by blocking the sidewalks on Deans Road, The Serum Road, Regent Street and the National Hospital Square in the Maradana Police Division.
It is reported that this order has been issued following a request made by the Maligakanda Magistrate’s Court in accordance with the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code, based on information received that a protest and march are scheduled to be held near the roads surrounding the Hospital Square in the Maradana Police Division in a manner that will block the sidewalks and roads.

This order has been issued to Hewawitharana (Secretary of the Joint Health Sciences Graduates’ Union), Chinthaka Prasad (President of the Joint Health Sciences Faculty Students’ Union of the University of Peradeniya representing the Joint Health Sciences Faculty), Madushan Chandrajith (Convenor of the Inter-University Students’ Federation) and their members.
Accordingly, this order will be in effect from 2.30 pm today (27) to 6.00 pm tomorrow (28).
හෙට කොළඹට එන අන්තරේ පිරිසකට අධිකරණයෙන් නියෝගයක්
විරෝධතාකරුවන් පිරිසකට මරදාන පොලිස් වසමේ රෝහල් චතුරශ්රය, සෞඛ්ය අමාත්යංශයට ඇතුළු වීම හා ඒ අවට පිහිටා ඇති රෝහල් වලට බාධා වන පරිදි ඩීන්ස් පාර, ද සේරම් පාර, රීජන්ට් වීදිය හා ජාතික රෝහල් චතුරශ්රය අවට ඇති මහා මාර්ගය පදික වේදිකා අවහිර කරමින් සිදු කරන උද්ඝෝෂණ, පෙළපාලි හා සෞඛ්ය අමාත්යංශය ඉදිරිපිට රැඳී සිටීම තහනම් කරමින් ආඥාවක් නිකුත් කර තිබෙනවා.
මරදාන පොලිස් වසමේ රෝහල් චතුරශ්රය අවට මාර්ග අසල පදික වේදිකාව හා මාර්ග අවහිර වන ආකාරයට උද්ඝෝෂණයක් හා පාගමනක් පැවැත්වීමට නියමිත බවට ලද තොරතුරක් මත අපරාධ නඩුවිධාන සංග්රහයේ පවතින ප්රතිපාදන ප්රකාරව මාලිගාකන්ද මහේස්ත්රාත් අධිකරණයෙන් කරන ලද ඉල්ලීමට අනුව මෙම නියෝගය නිකුත් කර ඇති බවයි වාර්තා වන්නේ.
එම්.එන්.එම්. නුස්රි (සම සෞඛ්ය විද්යා උපාධිධාරී එකමුතුව සම කැඳවුම්කරු), එන්.ඩී. හේවාවිතාරණ (සම සෞඛ්ය විද්යා උපාධිධාරී එකමුතුව ලේකම්) චින්තක ප්රසාද් (සම සෞඛ්ය විද්යා පීඨ නියෝජනය කරමින් පේරාදෙණිය විශ්ව විද්යාලයේ සම සෞඛ්ය විද්යා පීඨ ශිෂ්ය සංගමයේ සභාපති), මධුෂාන් චන්ද්රජිත් (අන්තර් විශ්ව විද්යාලීය ශිෂ්ය බල මණ්ඩලයේ කැඳවුම්කරු) ඇතුළු ඔවුන්ගේ සාමාජිකයින්ටයි මෙම ආඥාව නිකුත් කර තිබෙන්නේ.
ඒ අනුව අද (27) පස්වරු 2.30 සිට හෙට (28) පස්වරු 6.00 දක්වා මෙම නියෝගය ක්රියාත්මකයි.
