Samagi Jana Balawegaya leader Sajith Premadasa says that his party will support the government in the compass for any proposal brought against Deshabandu Tennakoon.
Speaking at a function held today, the opposition leader said that the previous government was violating the Constitution by appointing Deshabandu Tennakoon as the Inspector General of Police.
The opposition leader, who said that his party was against it, said that the former president and the Speaker are responsible for appointing Deshabandu Tennakoon to the post.
