The Five Years before Sri Lanka was Admitted as a Member State of United Nations on 14th December 1955 together with 15 other Countries.

ශ්රි ලංකා එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ සංගමය විසින් සංවිධානය කරන ලද 2025 ජාත්යන්තර කාන්තා දින සැමරුම සහ සම්මාන ප්රදානෝත්සවය මාර්තු 22 වන දින ශ්රී ලංකා පදනමේදී ශ්රී ලංකා අග්රාමාත්ය ගරු ආචාර්ය හරිනි අමරසූරිය සහ ශ්රී ලංකා විදේශ කටයුතු අමාත්ය ගරු විජිත හේරත් මහතාගේ ප්රධානත්වයෙන් පැවැත්විණි.
දේශීයව සහ ගෝලීය වශයෙන් කාන්තාවන් මුහුණ දෙන පීඩන, බාධක සහ පක්ෂග්රාහීත්වයන් හඳුනාගෙන ඒවාට විසඳුම් සෙවීම සඳහා තීරණාත්මක ක්රියාමාර්ග ගැනීමේ හදිසි අවශ්යතාවය ශ්රී ලංකා අග්රාමාත්යවරයා අවධාරණය කළේය.
ශ්රී ලංකා එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ සංගමයේ විධායක සභාපති ආචාර්ය එම්.එම්.එම්.එම්.රුෂානුදීන් ජේ.පී.ඩබ්ලිව්.අයි. විධායක සභාපති / මහලේකම් / ජීවිත අනුශාසක / ගෞරවනීය සාමාජික / ජීවිත සාමාජික සහ එකම ශිෂ්ය සභාපති කොළඹ සහිරා විද්යාලයේ UNA අධ්යයන කව ශ්රී ලංකාවේ ද්විතීයික උසස් පාසල්වල පාසල් 318 අතර ශ්රී ලංකා අධ්යාපන අමාත්යාංශය විසින් අනුමත කරන ලදී. ඒ කාලයේ කොළඹ සහිරා විද්යාලයීය UNA අධ්යයන කවය 1991 / 1992 / 1993 සහ 1994 දී හොඳම අධ්යයන කවය ලෙසත් 1985 සිට ස්වේච්ඡාවෙන් සේවය කරන බවත් එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ සංගමයේ ජාතික විධායක කමිටුවේ වසර 35 කට වැඩි කාලයක් නියෝජනය කරන බවත්ය.
2025 මාර්තු 22 වන දින කොළඹ -07 හි ශ්රී ලංකා පදනම් නිදහස් චතුරශ්රයේ පැවති ජාත්යන්තර කාන්තා දින සහ සම්මාන ප්රදානෝත්සවයේදී රුෂනුදීන් “UNA ශ්රී ලංකා ජීවිත කාලය පුරාම ස්වේච්ඡා පුරාවෘත්තය සඳහා රන් පදක්කම” සම්මානයෙන් පිදුම් ලැබීය.
එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ ලංකා සංගමය (UNA- Ceylon) 1950 අගෝස්තු 19 වන දින ලංකාවේ පළමු අග්රාමාත්ය සහ විදේශ කටයුතු ගරු මහාමාන්ය ආචාර්ය ඩී.එස්.සේනානායක මන්ත්රීතුමාගේ අනුග්රහය සහ මග පෙන්වීම යටතේ ආරම්භ කරන ලදී.
1982 අංක 17 දරන සමාගම් පනතේ සංස්ථාගත කිරීමේ සහතිකය සහ 2007 දී මෙම පනතට කරන ලද සංශෝධන යටතේ ලියාපදිංචි සීමිත සමාගම අංක N(A) 133 සහ සමාජ සේවා දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව ශ්රී ලංකාවේ ආරක්ෂක අමාත්යාංශය යටතේ ශ්රී ලංකාවේ රාජ්ය නොවන සංවිධානයේ ජාතික ලේකම් කාර්යාලය ලියාපදිංචි සහ බලපත්ර අංකය L16104 – රාජ්ය නොවන සංවිධාන කවුන්සිලය ද වේ.
1955 දෙසැම්බර් 14 වන දින ශ්රී ලංකාව එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ සාමාජික රාජ්යයක් ලෙස තවත් රටවල් 15 ක් සමඟ ඇතුළත් වීමට වසර පහකට පෙර.
1951 දී UNA ලංකාව WFUNA වෙත ඇතුළත් විය
ලෝක එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ සංගම් සම්මේලනය (WFUNA) සමඟ අනුබද්ධිතයි. 1946 අගෝස්තු 2 වන දින ආරම්භ කරන ලද අතර 1947 නොවැම්බර් 17 වන දින විශේෂ යෝජනාව 137 (11) එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ මහා මණ්ඩලයේදී සම්මත කරන ලදී. 1986 දෙසැම්බර් 3 වන දින 95 වන පූර්ණ රැස්වීම සිහිපත් කරන්න සහ 1986 යෝජනාව 41/68 WFUNA යනු ආර්ථික හා සමාජ කවුන්සිලයේ (ECOSOC) පළමු කාණ්ඩයේ උපදේශන තත්ත්වය සහිත ස්වාධීන, රාජ්ය නොවන සංවිධානයකි; එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ මහජන තොරතුරු දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව (DPI) සහ එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ අධ්යාපන විද්යාව හා සංස්කෘතිය (UNESCO) සමඟ සහයෝගී තත්ත්වය; එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ ජාත්යන්තර කම්කරු සංවිධානය (ILO) සමඟ විශේෂ ලැයිස්තුව; එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ වෙළඳ හා සංවර්ධනය පිළිබඳ සමුළුව (UNCTAD) සමඟ සාමාන්ය තත්ත්වය; එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ ආහාර හා කෘෂිකර්ම සංවිධානය (FAO), ජාත්යන්තර පරමාණුක හා බලශක්ති ඒජන්සිය (IAEA), එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ ළමා අරමුදල (UNICEF), එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ ලෝක කාලගුණ විද්යා සංගමය සහ තවත් බොහෝ එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ සංවිධාන සහ ආයතන සමඟ උපදේශන හෝ සම්බන්ධතා සම්බන්ධතා සමඟ තත්ත්වය.
