Mrs. R.P.H. Fernando has been appointed to the post of Commissioner General of Inland Revenue.
Accordingly, she will serve as the 39th Commissioner General of the Inland Revenue Department with effect from tomorrow (20).
Mrs. W.A.S. Chandrasekara, who served as the Commissioner General of Inland Revenue, has retired from the public service with effect from 2025‑02‑28.

ඒ අනුව ඇය හෙට (20) සිට ක්රියාත්මක වන පරිදි දේශීය ආදායම් දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ 39 වන කොමසාරිස් ජෙනරාල්වරිය ලෙස කටයුතු කරනු ලැබේ.
දේශීය ආදායම් කොමසාරිස් ජනරාල් වශයෙන් සේවය කළ ඩබ්ලිව්.ඒ.එස්. චන්ද්රසේකර මහත්මිය 2025‑02‑28 දින සිට රාජ්ය සේවයෙන් විශ්රාම ලබා ඇත.
