The dates for accepting nominations for the upcoming local government elections have been set.
Accordingly, the Election Commission announces that nominations will be accepted from March 17th until 12 noon on March 20th.
Political parties and independent groups intending to contest should submit nominations during this period.
ඉදිරි පළාත් පාලන මැතිවරණය සඳහා නාමයෝජනා භාර ගැනීමට දින නියම කර තිබෙනවා.
ඒ අනුව, මාර්තු 17 වන දින සිට මාර්තු 20 වන දින දහවල් 12 දක්වා නාමයෝජනා භාර ගැනීම සිදු කරන බවයි මැතිවරණ කොමිසම නිවේදනය කරන්නේ.
තරඟ කිරීමට අදහස් කරන දේශපාලන පක්ෂ සහ ස්වාධීන කණ්ඩායම් මෙම කාලය තුළ නාමයෝජනා ඉදිරිපත් කළ යුතුය.
