The Samagi Jana Balawegaya says that the talks with the United National Party have been temporarily halted.
Talking with the UNP does not mean merging with the United National Party, said Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP S. M. Marikkar.
Speaking at a media briefing today (18), MP S. M. Marikkar said that 2.5 million voters will not come to cast their votes due to the division of the right-wing camp.
Speaking further, MP Marikkar said:
“Their vote is very important. Therefore, all the elements in the right-wing camp should be united. This cannot be done in a hurry.
We also assume that the government will take steps to hold the local government elections in April. The Samagi Jana Balawegaya is ready for that.
Also, many parties including the Samagi Jana Balawegaya have already requested the Election Commission to convene the local government elections after the budget debate is over. Accordingly, the Election Commission has the ability to hold the elections in May.”

ආණ්ඩුව කටයුතු කරයි කියලා. ඒ සඳහා සමගි ජන බලවේගය සුදානම්.

කැදවන්න කටයුතු කරන්න කියලා. ඒ අනුව මැයි මාසයේදී මැතිවරණය පවත්වන්න මැතිවරණ
