Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Lands and Irrigation K.D. Lal Kantha says that it has been decided to temporarily suspend the method of granting freehold deeds so far.
The Minister said that this step was taken due to the shortcomings in the said method.
He stated that the program of granting deeds will be implemented through a new method, taking into account social protection, security and the survival of families.
