The introduction of 03 new digital portals, including the GovPay facility, to enable the public to make all government payments digitally is scheduled to be carried out today (07).
With the introduction of this new system under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, the President’s Media Division said that the public will be able to make all government payments digitally.
Explaining further in this regard, Deputy Minister of Digital Economic Affairs, Engineer Eranga Weeraratne,
“Currently, this payment facility is being introduced for 16 government services. We hope to provide the opportunity for 30 more by April. We will also work in the future to reduce the cost of making payments through this to a fee of around Rs. 15

රජයේ සියලුම ගෙවීම් ඩිජිටල් ක්රමය ඔස්සේ සිදුකිරීමට ජනතාවට හැකිවන පරිදි GovPay පහසුකම ඇතුළු නව ඩිජිටල් ප්රවේශයන් 03ක් හඳුන්වාදීම අද (07) දිනයේ සිදුකිරීමට නියමිතව තිබේ.
ජනාධිපති අනුර කුමාර දිසානායක මහතාගේ ප්රධානත්වයෙන් මෙම නව ක්රමය හදුන්වා දීමත් සමග රජයේ සියලුම ගෙවීම් ඩිජිටල් ක්රමවේදය ඔස්සේ සිදුකිරීමට ජනතාවට හැකිවන බව ජනාධිපති මාධ්ය අංශය පැවසීය.
ඒ සම්බන්ධයෙන් වැඩිදුරටත් පැහැදිලි කරන ඩිජිටල් ආර්ථික කටයුතු පිළිබඳ නියෝජ්ය අමාත්ය ඉංජිනේරු එරංග වීරරත්න මහතා,
“දැනට රජයේ සේවා 16කට මෙම ගෙවීම් පහසුකම හඳුන්වා දෙනවා. අප්රේල් වෙනකොට තවත් 30ක් සඳහා අවස්ථාව දෙන්න බලාපොරොත්තු වෙනවා. මේ හරහා ගෙවීමේදී වෙන වියදම රුපියල් 15ක් වගේ ගාස්තුවකට අඩු කරන්නත් ඉදිරියේදී කටයුතු කරනවා.
