A total of 70,944 tourists arrived in the island during the period from January 1 to 9, 2025.
The largest number of tourists came from India, with 11,749.
It is also reported that 11,629 Russian tourists, 5,049 tourists from the United Kingdom, 3,055 from Australia, 2,714 from France, 2,516 from China and 2,351 American tourists have also arrived.
It is further reported that 13,101 more tourists have arrived during the same period this year compared to the first 9 days of January 2024.
2025 වසරේ ජනවාරි 01 සිට 09 දක්වා වූ කාලසීමාව තුළදී සංචාරකයන් 70,944ක් මෙරටට පැමිණ තිබෙනවා.
ඉන් වැඩිම පිරිසක් පැමිණ ඇත්තේ ඉන්දියාවෙන් වන අතර එම සංඛ්යාව 11,749 ක් බවයි සඳහන් වන්නේ.
එසේම රුසියානු සංචාරකයන් 11,629 ක්, එක්සත් රාජධානියේ සංචාරකයන් 5,049 ක්, ඕස්ට්රේලියාවෙන් 3,055 ක්, ප්රංශයෙන් 2,714 ක්, චීනයෙන් 2,516 ක් හා ඇමෙරිකානු සංචාරකයන් 2,351 දෙනෙකුද පැමිණ තිබෙන බව සඳහන්.
පසුගිය 2024 වසරේ ජනවාරි මාසයේ පළමු දින 09ට සාපේක්ෂව, මේ වසරේ එම කාලය තුළදී සංචාරකයින් 13,101 දෙනෙකු වැඩිපුර පැමිණ ඇති බවයි වැඩිදුරටත් වාර්තා වන්නේ.
