Colombo, December 2, 2024 – Rev. Gopi Atipattu, the Chairman and Founder of the Serve Together Foundation in India, visited the headquarters of the Human Rights Protection Organization on December 2, 2024. The meeting, held at the organization’s central office, focused on strengthening future collaborations and discussing key development initiatives for the year 2025.
The discussion was led by Dr. M. M. Shafaan, Chief Executive Director of the Human Rights Protection Organization, with Rev. Dimuthu Daluwatte, the Executive Director, also taking part in the event. The key focus of the meeting was to explore potential areas of partnership between the two organizations, particularly in the fields of disability welfare and human rights advocacy.
Both organizations shared insights into their respective initiatives and goals for the coming year, with an emphasis on creating impactful programs that can benefit marginalized communities. The conversation highlighted the importance of cross-border collaborations, with a special focus on improving the welfare of people with disabilities and advocating for human rights in the region.
